Dear Mommies,
When I first sat down to write this post, my intention was simple: share 5 self-care tips for busy moms. But as I started writing, I realized something—there are so many little things I’ve tried over the years that have truly helped me recharge. And the truth is, as moms, we often forget that we need that time for ourselves.
As a stay-at-home mom of three girls, life is full. Between caring for our dog Marley, tending to our chickens and quails, keeping up with the greenhouse, cooking, cleaning, running the farmstand, and balancing our growing farm, my days are packed from morning to night. And while I love the life we’ve built, I’ve also learned the hard way that if I don’t pour into myself, I can’t pour into my family.
That’s why self-care has become so important to me. It doesn’t have to be complicated, expensive, or time-consuming. Sometimes it’s as simple as journaling for ten minutes before bed or taking a quiet walk to clear my mind. Other times it’s baking something sweet, painting with my girls, or even just getting dressed up—no reason needed.
Every mom’s schedule looks different. Some days are slower, some days feel non-stop, but these tips can fit into both. Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be posting daily about each one of these practices. I want to share my own experiences—the wins, the struggles, and the little lessons—because my blog isn’t just about advice, it’s about being real and personal with you.

You don’t need to do them all at once. Even choosing just one small act of self-care a day can make a world of difference—not only for your mood, but for your energy, your health, and the way you show up for your family.
So, let’s take this journey together. I’ll be starting with Journaling, and I hope you’ll find something in these posts that speaks to you and reminds you that you, too, deserve care.
With love,
A fellow mom on the journey 💛 (Nemesis N. Escobar-Cruz)
